Nonlinear Dynamical Systems and Control in Intelligent Optimization and Applications
面向智能优化与应用的非线性动力系统及控制
The natural and engineering worlds are inherently nonlinear — from chaotic weather systems and high-speed robotic maneuvers to intricate biological networks. As modern intelligent systems become increasingly autonomous and complex, conventional linear methods often fail to capture the underlying dynamics, leading to suboptimal performance or even instability. This session focuses on the synergy between nonlinear dynamical systems theory, advanced control methodologies, and intelligent optimization algorithms. It brings together recent theoretical advances — data-driven predictive control, learning‑based adaptive frameworks, and model‑free optimization — alongside practical applications in robotics, energy systems, autonomous vehicles, and smart manufacturing. By fostering cross‑disciplinary dialogue, the session aims to bridge the gap between rigorous nonlinear analysis and real‑time intelligent decision-making.
✦ Topics of interest (include but not limited to)
- Data‑driven and learning‑based control for nonlinear systems
- Reinforcement learning and adaptive dynamic programming for optimal control
- Intelligent optimization algorithms (evolutionary computation, swarm intelligence) for nonlinear system tuning
- Model predictive control and extremum‑seeking control for complex dynamics
- Nonlinear observer design, fault diagnosis, and resilient control
- Applications in smart grids, autonomous robotics, industrial processes, and biomedical systems
